Have Fun Fishing At Home With Bandai Namco’s Ace Angler For Nintendo Switch

Bandai Namco has just announced the release of popular arcade fishing game Ace Anglers for the Nintendo Switch. This new version will release on 21 July and comes with English subtitles and Japanese voice over.

A popular arcade fishing simulation game, Ace Angler lets you reel in many different types of fishes, from small clownfishes to bigger angler sharks and giant squid. Medals will be award based on the type of fishes you have reeled in.

According to Hori (via Gematsu), a special Ace Angler dedicated Joy-Con attachment for the game will also be sold from 21 July for 2,480 yen (approximately S$32.51).

So, if you find yourself still stuck at home and unable to go to an arcade by the time the game is released, at least you can still do all your fishing at home.

In the Nintendo Switch version of Ace Anglers, players can enjoy “the realistic force feedback of casting the line and reeling in the fish with Joy-Con ‘Rod Technique.’” With this, it will seem like you are fishing for real.

The game will also come with an ‘Adventure Mode’ where players follow the Kappa brothers on a journey to capture all the big fishes. Those looking for some friendly competition can enter the ‘Competition Mode’ where up to four players can compete against each other to reel in the most fishes and rack up the highest score.

More details on the price for the game will be released later.
