Hasbro Had Another ‘Viral Baby Yoda Toy’ With Ghostbusters Mini Stay Puft Surprise Figures, But Blew It

Sony Pictures has struck gold with the recent new clip for the highly anticipated Ghostbusters: Afterlife showing off a pack of adorable (but deadly) Mini Stay Puft Marshmallow Men.

Clearly, these Mini-Pufts are a hit with the fans and Hasbro has already announced a line of Ghostbusters Mini-Pufts Surprise Figures.

Detailed to look like characters from the film, each series of 1.5-inch Mini-Puft figures is inspired by the original Stay Puft Marshmallow Man but comes equipped with new mischievous personalities from the movie. Each figure will come packed in a sealed blind Stay Puft Marshmallow can and dig into the goopy marshmallow-like compound to see which Mini-Puft figure is inside.

Unfortunately, upon closer look at the figures, the details are rather… disappointing. Perhaps they are just early prototypes.

But hey, at least the packaging looks pretty cool.

It will be released in multiple blind waves and six unique figures per wave and will be made available at most major retailers from Fall 2021 onwards and will cost US$5.39 each.

The latest instalment of the beloved paranormal comedy franchise was once slated to premiere back in the summer of 2020 but because of the global pandemic, had to be pushed back. After multiple reschedules, the release date of Ghostbusters: Afterlife remains at 11 November 2021.
