With Ghostbusters: Afterlife coming this year, and Hasbro being announced as the official licensee from 2020 onwards, it was inevitable for some life-size replicas to show up this year.
Just announced at the New York Toy Fair 2020, the Ghostbusters Plasma Series Spengler’s Neutrona Wand is the first in the lineup revealed, based on the one seen in the upcoming 2020 film Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
With premium design and deco, LEDs, authentic sound effects, motorized vibrations, intensity adjustment, stream extension with four unique bustin’ modes, and display stand. One can cycle through four modes with the press of a button, including classic Proton Stream, Slime Blower, Stasis Stream, and Meson Collider modes. It is powered by three 1.5V AA alkaline batteries.
Best of all, it only costs US$99.99 and is available for pre-order on Entertainment Earth now. The only problem is, we’ll have to wait till Aug – Sep 2020 for its release.
This looks to be the first in a series of Ghostbusters Plasma Series line from Hasbro, so our bets are on a Proton Pack, PKE Meter or even a Ghost Trap to come next.
