Set in 1997 Tokyo, scientist Malcolm Lee works to launch a new AI system designed to compete with Skynet’s impending attack on humanity, as a soldier is sent back in time to change the fate of humanity, and the duo are hunted by an unrelenting assassin from the future.

And if the art style looks familiar, that’s because studio Production I.G, known for their work on Ghost in the Shell and Kaiju No. 8, is behind the project. With plenty of experience in the sci-fi genre, the series brings the world of Terminator to life in a new format.

We’re excited to see the direction Terminator Zero takes the franchise in when it premieres in August 2024, and it’s likely we’ll see a trailer release sooner than later.
