‘Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis’ For Mobile And Windows Now Available In Asia

Six months after its debut, Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis has finally made its way to the Asia region. The surprise announcement comes less than a month after the highly-anticipated release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and includes the full list of countries in its official X/Twitter post.

Fans in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Macau, Myanmar, and Laos can now play the game on their iOS and Android devices, as well as PC via Steam. Initially released on 7 September last year, it serves as a retelling of Final Fantasy VII and other side narratives in the compilation, such as Before Crisis, Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus, and even the Advent Children animated CG movie.

This first wave of launch excluded territories in Asia, with its region-locked access denying players from stepping into fantasy world without a VPN. Apart from letting them “experience the journey of a young hero Sephiroth”, the spin-off directed by longtime franchise head creative Tetsuya Nomura will also feature exclusive soundtracks.
