If you thought the mighty Avengers could not get cooler, prepare yourself for the arrival of new comic series Avengers Mech Strike. That’s right, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes will be getting their own gigantic mechs to do battle with the villains of the universe.
Writer Jed MacKay and artist Carlos Magno will be leading the new series. It is set to “kick off a bold new age of action-packed Avengers battles that will send shockwaves throughout the comic book industry and beyond.”
The gist is that a new obstacle presents unsurmountable odds for the heroic team, and desperate times call for desperate measures. When the Hulk, Thor, and Captain Marvel need even more help, things are going to get messy. Expect hard-hitting action with some familiar faces on both sides.
Earth can always use more giant mechs for protection, and who better to do the job than the Avengers? Avengers Mech Strike #1 will be released in February in 2021.
