The trailer to Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves just arrived and it seems to jump between serious fantasy epic and lighthearted action comedy.
Kicking off San Diego Comic-Con, the trailer shows a team of thieves who have accidentally stolen “the wrong thing for the wrong person,” and accidentally unleashed “the greatest evil the world has ever known.” The trailer also shows some classic creatures such as a dragon, a mimic, a displacer beast, a gelatinous cube, and an owlbear – all of which, you would’ve already picked up on if you’re a big Dungeons & Dragons fan.
In addition to the trailer, fans also got a glimpse at a number of posters for the film which reveal the movie’s impressive cast. Starring in the film is Chris Pine as a bard, Regé-Jean Page as a paladin, Michelle Rodriguez as a barbarian, Hugh Grant as a rogue, Justice Smith as a sorcerer, and Sophia Lillis as a Tiefling Druid.
Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves premieres in theatres on 3 March 2023.
