Sometime last month, the trademark for cult classic Dino Crisis was renewed, sparking plenty of excitement for those invested in the dinosaur-themed survival-horror franchise. Of course, Capcom never did comment on the renewal, but a new rumour might points towards just that.
Coming via Twitter user AestheticGamer, who has a track record of leaking accurate Capcom news, the user indicated that Capcom is planning to reboot more of its library of games, “in the same vein” as Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 with the RE Engine, and reveals are coming “pretty soon.”
That is definitely in line with what Capcom has planned for its extensive back catalogue, and with the recent Resident Evil games being such big hits, perhaps Dino Crisis can undergo the same revival.
