Gru is back, along with his adorable minions in Despicable Me 4, in a new trailer released by Universal, which shows Gru and his attempts at fatherhood with his infant son. Will Ferrell and Sofia Vergara also star as the animated movie’s main antagonist couple,
The movie’s latest trailer sees Gru struggling with getting his son’s attention while grappling with a new threat from villain rival Maxime Le Mal and his girlfriend Valentina, which sends the family (and minions) on the run.
Also voicing other roles in the movie are Joey King, Stephen Colbert, Chloe Fineman and Madison Polan, with Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Steve Coogan, Chris Renaud, Dana Gaier, and Pierre Coffin reprising their roles.
With plenty of heists, comedy, and heartwarming family drama, the trailer teases Despicable Me 4 as a fun summer movie to catch in cinemas when it opens 3 July 2024.
