Keeping to the same release format of its third season, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hashira Training Arc (Season 4) will usher in a new “world tour”, alongside an hour-long pilot episode when the new season arrives Spring 2024.

The world tour, titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba To the Hashira Training, combines the 11th episode of the previous season with the start of Hashira Training Arc. It will kick off on 2 February in Japan with a special two-day screening featuring guest appearances, before heading to the following countries:

  • Mexico City and Singapore on 17 February
  • Jakarta on 18 February
  • Paris and Taipei on 24 February
  • London and Hong Kong on 25 February

According to the promotion reel, screenings will be held in “over 140 countries and regions”, more than the previous count of 80 for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – To the Swordsmith Village. A new key visual for the world tour has also been revealed, with studio Ufotable returning to helm the animation.

Season 4 of Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba was announced in June, after Swordsmith Village Arc ended its 11-episode run. It begins with volume 16 of the manga, and Viz Media describes its story as such:

“Tanjiro goes to see the Stone Hashira, Himejima, who intends to prepare him for the battles to come. The training to become a Hashira—a high-ranking member of the Demon Slayer Corps—is intense and demanding, and earning Himejima’s approval seems impossible, but Tanjiro won’t give up! Meanwhile, the demon lord Muzan continues to search for the location of Nezuko and Ubuyashiki.”

Demon Slayer Season 4

The anime adapts the Shueisha-published manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, which began serialisation in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2016, and ended in 2020 with 23 tankoubon volumes. After its premiere in 2019, the first season was followed by the Demon Slayer – Kimetsu No Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, a TV broadcast of the Mugen Train movie, and Entertainment District Arc.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hashira Training Arc will continue Tanjiro’s adventures next Spring.
