‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle’ Part One Film Sets July Release In Japan

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’s Infinity Castle trilogy has finally received an official release date for its first movie, bringing fans one step closer to the anime’s climactic showdown in Japanese cinemas on 18 July 2025. While international release dates have yet to be confirmed, past trends suggest North American and global screenings could follow in the months ahead.

A new trailer and key visual accompanied the announcement, both of which were revealed on Aniplex’s official YouTube channel. The film adaptation of the Infinity Castle Arc marks a major turning point in the franchise, setting the stage for a high-stakes battle against Muzan Kibutsuji and his Upper Moons. Six years after the anime’s debut in 2019, the series is now approaching its grand finale, bringing some of its most intense and emotional moments to the big screen.

The announcement was made during a special live stream event featuring an extensive lineup of voice actors, including Natsuki Hanae (Tanjiro Kamado), Akari Kito (Nezuko Kamado), Hiro Shimono (Zenitsu Agatsuma), Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Inosuke Hashibira), and Toshihiko Seki (Muzan Kibutsuji). Other cast members representing the Hashira, such as Takahiro Sakurai (Giyu Tomioka), Kengo Kawanishi (Muichiro Tokito), and Kana Hanazawa (Mitsuri Kanroji), also appeared.

In addition to the movie, more news about Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2 was revealed during the event. The game, set to launch in 2025, is expected to expand on the first instalment, introducing new characters and mechanics inspired by the Hashira Training Arc and Infinity Castle Arc. A new demo was also showcased, giving fans a preview of what’s to come.

Crunchyroll continues to stream Demon Slayer in multiple languages, with the Hashira Training Arc set for a Blu-ray release this April. As anticipation builds for Infinity Castle The First Movie, many are wondering when the remaining two films will follow. Based on typical production schedules, the second movie could arrive in 2026, with the trilogy’s conclusion likely landing in 2027.

For now, international fans will need to wait for official confirmation of overseas release dates. More details on the next instalments will likely be revealed after the first movie’s release, offering a clearer timeline for the franchise’s grand finale.
