A Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves sequel looks promising, with Chris Pine expressing optimism about its prospects.
In a recent interview with GamesRadar+, Pine, who voices King Magnifico in Disney’s Wish, discussed the potential follow-up to the highly-acclaimed fantasy film. He hinted at hearing rumours of a sequel and expressed his eagerness to return if it materialises. “I’ve heard some rumours about it,” Pine said. “But I don’t know anything yet. But I feel pretty confident that it may happen.”

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves rolled a critical success, earning high ratings on Rotten Tomatoes from both critics (91%) and audiences (93%). Despite this acclaim, its box office performance fell short of expectations.
The film, directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, grossed US$208.2 million globally against a US$150 million budget. Paramount CEO Brian Robbins acknowledged the discussions about a sequel but highlighted the need to “make it for less”.
Inspired by the iconic tabletop game Dungeons & Dragons, the film features Pine leading a diverse group of adventurers on a perilous quest. The cast includes notable names like Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, and Hugh Grant.
