Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina’s Season 5 Would Have Had A Riverdale Crossover

Less than a week ago, news broke that Netflix is cancelling Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina. The show would cease to exist after it airs Part 4. Fans of the teenage witch were upset, to say the least, and took to Twitter to vent their frustration and have even come up with a petition demanding that the streaming giant renew the show.

Amongst all the anger and heartbreak, showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa teased fans by saying that Part 5 of Sabrina would have had the Riverdale crossover that many fans long desired. The two Archieverse TV Shows have even hinted at the possibility of a crossover by scattering many easter eggs across the two shows.

With the show cancelled, the big-screen crossover will only remain a dream though fans can read it instead. Aguirre-Sacasa announced that Part 5, Witch War, would be made into a comic book. Details of the comic book have yet to be released.

The fourth and final season of Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina is expected to air later this year as filming wrapped up in February, but with the ongoing pandemic…who knows!

The synopsis for Part 4 is as follows:

The Eldritch Terrors will descend upon Greendale and the coven must fight each terrifying threat one-by-one (The Weird, The Returned, The Darkness to name a few), all leading up to…The Void, which is the End of All Things. As the witches wage war, with the help of The Fright Club, Nick begins to slowly earn his way back into Sabrina’s heart, but will it be too late?

Whilst waiting for Part 4, you can watch the first three seasons of Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina on Netflix.
