The laptops also pack a high-capacity 81Wh battery for up to 30-plus hours of 1080p video playback, as well as an advanced vapour chamber, Intra Flow thermal design, and a dual-fan setup for maximum longevity and minimum noise.

Along with the standard Prestige 14 and 16 laptops, MSI also unveiled its Flip series counterparts, which feature the same performance and slim form factor, albeit with an additional touch of flexibility thanks to their 2-in-1 form factors and touch-enabled displays with stylus support, which goes hand in hand with the bundled MSI Nano Pen. The Prestige 14 and 16 Flip also boast a 53% larger Action Touchpad with customisable gesture zones and up to a 2800 x 1800 120Hz OLED display with VRR and DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification, making them an enticing tool for modern professionals.

MSI also announced its new Modern 14S and 16S laptops, which are designed to bring premium design features to a wider audience. These laptops feature a refreshed look with additional metal materials for the added touch of class, and also house the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors and dual memory slots, improving their upgrade potential. Despite these upgrades, the laptops remain portable at 11.1mm thin and weighing as little as 1.3kg for the Modern 14S OLED variant, making them a worthy companion for the user on the go.

It’s not just these laptop ranges that have seen major enhancements, as MSI has essentially revamped its entire laptop line-up for the new year, such as the new Raider 16 Max HX, which marks the world’s first gaming laptop capable of delivering a 300W total system power spread across its RTX 5090 or 5080 GPU and its Intel Core Ultra 200HX processor, the Stealth 16 AI+, which is now thinner and lighter than ever before, or the Crosshair 16 Max HX, which is now powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra 200HX processors and RTX 50 series GPUs.

The new Prestige series laptops powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors are now available for pre-order on select retail channels, with official sales beginning on 27 January 2026.
