At CES 2020, ASUS just made esports even more streamlined, with the announcement of the ASUS ROG Swift 360Hz gaming monitor.
Up until last year, 240Hz refresh rate gaming monitors were all the rage in the pro gaming scene, with the likes of the Taiwanese-based PC firm and competitors such as BenQ Zowie heating up the competition with buttery-smooth visuals.
The introduction of the 360Hz variant of the ROG Swift just ups the ante even more, thanks to the new NVIDIA G-SYNC Esports Display, so that pro gamers never have to miss a single beat while slogging it out against opponents on the likes of Overwatch or League of Legends.
Accompanying the new 360Hz gaming monitor is the ASUS ROG Swift PG32UQX, which comes with a native 4K resolution packed in a compact-yet-spacious 32-inch NVIDIA G-SYNC ULTIMATE display.
The ROG Swift PG32UQX’s other main draw is that its display is illuminated by a full-array local dimming backlight with 1,152 mini LED zones that can reach an impressive 1400 nits, that ensure users always get the most out of the monitor’s brightness. Of course, these backlights can be switched off as needed, especially in darker areas.
Both the ROG Swift 360Hz and the ROG Swift PG32UQX displays will be available later this year, with pricing to be announced closer to their release dates.

Forgive him in advance if he suddenly blurts out terms such as “Mind Flayer” and “Magic Missile”, because never once does he stop thinking about his next Dungeons & Dragons game.
