Call Of Duty Brings ’80s Action Heroes Rambo & John McClane To Black Ops Cold War & Warzone

Call of Duty has gotten a whole lot more exciting. The game’s newest update brings the legendary Rambo and Die Hard‘s John McClane into the series as part of the game’s ’80s Action Heroes event.

The action heroes will be available to play in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarCall of Duty: Warzone, and Call of Duty: Mobile. During the special limited event, fans can take on the roles of the ultimate survivor Rambo or the unwitting hero John McClane to drop into Verdansk, battle in Nuketown ’84, survive all-out-combat in Nakatomi Plaza, and more.

The ’80s Action Heroes event also sees new weapons including a combat bow and a ballistic knife inspired the movies. There will also be new maps, gears, missions, modes and movie-inspired medals for completing certain tasks.

In addition to the new Rambo and Die Hard themed content, new content is also available in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War as part of the Season Three Reloaded celebration. Some of the new content includes a 6v6 multiplayer map Standoff, Multi-Team Multiplayer map Duga, Multi-Team Elimination mode, and more.

Players of Black Ops Cold War Zombies Outbreak will also find an entirely new slate of content too such as a new main quest for the first time in Outbreak, a new encounter with the fearsome Orda roaming in the Ural Mountains, and more.

For those unaware, Rambo is a character played by Sylvester Stallone in the superhit action movie of the same name. The plot of the movie sees him wage a one-man war against his pursuers, resulting in one of the most epic action movies of all time.

John McClane on the other hand is a character played by Bruce Willis in the blockbuster action series Die Hard. A New York cop, McClane, arrives at a holiday party turned hostage situation and has to fight off the bad guys single-handedly to save his estranged wife.
