‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’ Teases “Dark New Chapter”, Full Reveal On 9 Jun

Following a series of leaks and teases, the 2024 entry in the Call of Duty franchise has finally been unveiled. A new teaser for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was dropped on X/Twitter, featuring a three-headed wolf as its official logo and a caption that reads, “A dark new chapter of the Black Ops franchise begins. Call of Duty: #BlackOps6.”

In a separate 40-second YouTube clip, a group of individuals are seen vandalising Mount Rushmore and placing blindfolds over the faces of the presidents on the sculpture. The first three spell out, “The truth lies”, with the wolf heads stamped onto the last figure.

While there isn’t much else to go on, trusted Call of Duty fan account CharlieIntel posted another image that shows the word “gulf”, which seems to corroborate with earlier rumours of a Gulf War setting. A full announcement and deep dive of the game is scheduled for 9 June during the Xbox Games Showcase, so fans can expect more information then.
