Avengers… assemble for two versions of Avengers: Endgame Encore, as Disney is releasing two cuts of the film, while simultaneously debuting its new Infinity Vision certification that its upcoming Avengers: Doomsday film will be playing around the world.
Disney and Marvel are getting fans hyped and ready as Encore adds roughly four minutes of new footage to the 2019 mega hit, in the form of an extended scene at the end of the film that recontextualises the conclusion to one of the heroes, as well as adding three new post-credit scenes that lead into Doomsday. This re-release also provides improved colour grading across the entire film, which should shine in Disney’s new Infinity Vision.
All cinemas playing the Encore version will have these new scenes, but those who opt to watch the film in Disney’s Infinity Vision or IMAX format will be treated to a bonus 3-minute-long extended look at Avengers: Doomsday in addition to the aforementioned new footage, making this the definitive viewing format.
But what is Infinity Vision? In essence, it’s a premium screen certification that Disney cooked up in order to compete with IMAX, not a new cinema format. According to the description on its official website, Infinity Vision is a certification for Premium Large Format (PLF) theatres which helps to signify that the particular hall allows viewers to “experience an exceptional film presentation”.
Basically, if a cinema hall is labelled with the Infinity Vision badge, this means that it features big screens, bright images, immersive sound, and the like, helping fans to easily identify which screens would provide them the best viewing experience.
In Southeast Asia, Infinity Vision-certified cinemas are being identified across Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines – which means these halls already exist and have not been purpose-built. Cinema operators in Singapore, in particular, will be home to five Infinity Vision screens, along its five existing IMAX halls, so if fans wish to view the most complete version of Avengers: Endgame Encore with all the additional Doomsday footage, they can book their tickets at one of the 10 halls listed below:

Avengers: Endgame Encore is now screening in cinemas across Singapore. Avengers: Doomsday will launch on 17 December 2026.
For those who want to experience the new content in Avengers: Endgame Encore but are hesitant to spend money to rewatch a film for just four minutes of new content, fret not, as footage has already emerged from early screenings of the film. Unsurprisingly, Marvel and Disney have already begun scrubbing these leaks, but as with the nature of the internet, descriptions of these scenes have already spread far and wide.

Steve and Peggy’s final dance gets interrupted
The finale scene in the original Endgame, which sees Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) reunited and sharing an emotional dance, has now been extended. The couple’s sweet moment is now interrupted by a knock at the door, and when Peggy goes to answer it, she is greeted by none other than Loki (Tom Hiddleston) in his TVA uniform, who says, “I can help you. Both of you.” Steve then steps out to face his former foe as the screen cuts to black.
Post-Credit Scene 1: Doctor Doom comes for Bruce Banner
Following what is being assumed to be his appearance in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) has now locked himself up in an underground military bunker to contain the Hulk. As he logs a video update on his new Gamma-stabilising serum, the room fills up with a mysterious green glow, and Doctor Doom’s voice bellows from the shadows, saying, “Mr Banner. I’m here to collect you,” before Hulk’s roar echoes and they both vanish.
Post-Credit Scene 2: The TVA scramble as the Multiverse collapses
The next scene takes place within the TVA, presumably after the events of the Loki series. Mobius (Owen Wilson), Casey (Eugene Cordero) and Ouroboros (Ke Huy Quan) are in a full state of panic as they spot two Earths from different universes on a collision course, with both launching missiles at each other. One of these Earths is Universe-1005, better known as the universe of the Fox X-Men film franchise, while the other is Earth-1127. Things quickly get worse, as emergency monitors across the TVA start to flash as thousands of additional incursions break out simultaneously, leading Ouroboros to exclaim that “The Multiverse is collapsing.”
Post-Credit Scene 3: What the hammering audio in Endgame really meant
Fans of the original movie would no doubt remember how the film initially ended, as instead of a final scene, they were treated to the sound of a hammer clanging on metal, which many presumed to be Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) building his Iron Man suit. Now, Encore transitions this black audio screen into an actual scene, revealing that it was actually Doctor Doom forging his metal mask.
And there you have it, these are the new scenes featured in the standard version of Avengers: Endgame Encore. Of course, there are still those additional Doomsday scenes featured in Encore’s Infinity Vision and IMAX formats that haven’t yet been leaked on the internet, so fans who wish to experience those for themselves can snag their tickets to catch the movie at the 10 halls listed above.
