Apple Intelligence is set to debut on the Apple Vision Pro in April, along with changes to the user interface that include more optimal voice prompts to navigate the hardware without the use of a keyboard and mouse.
The visionOS 2.4 beta, which is available before the operating system’s launch in April, adds AI features that Mac, iPhone and iPad users are familiar with, including Writing Tools that proofread, rewrite, and summarise text, Image Playground that can create visual images using text descriptions or from a user’s photo library, Genmoji that for the creation of new emojis, and the use of ChatGPT with the hardware.

As with the rollout of Apple Intelligence across Apple’s other hardware, more features and support for additional languages will be introduced throughout the year. The company is also introducing a new Spatial Gallery app for what it terms as its spatial computing hardware, with a curated selection of spatial photos, videos, and panoramas for users to experience content across the arts, culture, entertainment, lifestyle, nature, sports and more.
At launch, users can discover the works from well-known photographers including Jonpaul Douglass and Samba Diop, as well as content from brands including Cirque du Soleil, Red Bull, and Porsche, and behind-the-scenes collections from Apple Originals shows including Disclaimer, Severance, and Shrinking.

In an effort to simplify the sharing of the Vision Pro hardware with friends and family, Apple is enhancing Guest User in visionOS 2.4, which allows owners to grant a Guest User session with their nearby iPhone or iPad, where they can start View Mirroring with AirPlay, which makes it easier to guide a guest through their Vision Pro experience.
Apple will also introduce a new Apple Vision Pro App for iPhone, which will introduce the spatial content and experiences of the hardware to iPhone users. This will be available in the upcoming iOS 18.4, which Apple also detailed as a new round of developer betas for its suite of hardware devices, including iPadOS 18.4, macOS 15.4, tvOS 18.4, and watchOS 11.4.
For iPhone and iPad users, the upcoming operating system updates will allow users to set their preferred default translation apps, while those in the EU will be able to change their default navigation app. It will also add Priority Notifications, which is an Apple Intelligence feature that sorts notification updates by importance for a user.
The new beta also adds English (Singapore) to the list of language support for Apple devices.
