However, it is likely that the tech company will be launching a pair of new MacBooks, a redesigned higher-end Mac mini and possibly a pair of third-generation AirPods.

There have been reports that Apple is on the cusp of releasing new 14 and 16 inch MacBook Pro models that will be running on the new Arm-based processor called the M1X. The new processor is said to boost performance compared to the M1 chip that debuted last year. The new MacBook Pro models can also expect the return of fan-favourite features such as the magnetic MagSafe charging, an HDMI port, and an SD card slot.

Rumours suggest that the M1X processor will also be featured in the redesigned higher-end Mac Mini. The new Mac Mini will reportedly have more ports than last year.

Lastly, Apple may also be launching a pair of third-generation AirPods too. The third-generation AirPods are expected to adopt a design similar to the AirPods Pro, with shorter stems and a redesigned charging case.

With 18 October coming close, we will have to wait and see how many of these rumours and reports come to fruition.
