Yup, no kidding. This fine piece of work is by Twitter user Annkoromoti, a talented sculptor, modeller and diorama maker from Japan. If you haven’t caught on yet, this is the iconic VF-1 Valkyrie from the original Macross anime, and what the artist has done here is literally recreate the image of the fighter jet/mecha hybrid sitting in the hangar with a cell-shaded paint job.

Aside from this sick VF-1 model diorama, Annkoromoti has also done up the VF-1A Super Battroid, also from Macross.
Marion has a serious RPG addiction. Sometimes it bleeds into real life; he forgets to sleep because he thinks he has a Witcher’s body clock. Forgive him in advance if he suddenly blurts out terms such as “Mind Flayer” and “Magic Missile”, because never once does he stop thinking about his next Dungeons & Dragons game.
