Singaporean PC manufacturer Aftershock PC is best known for their high-performance gaming laptops at affordable prices, such as the Forge 15 series. However, it doesn’t mean they don’t dabble in some high-end stuff. Just look at their Aftershock Slate series, which sits at the top of their product line, alongside the Apex series as their premium slim gaming laptops.
However, it looks as though a new member of the family may well take over as the new big boss; the Aftershock Vapor 15.
Designed in collaboration with Intel, the Vapor 15 is Aftershock’s top-of-the-line slim and light high-performance gaming notebook. Where the Slate and Apex are already exceptional in the slim category, the Vapor 15 takes that one notch higher, packing a juicy punch in a sleek and sturdy magnesium chassis – meaning it weighs a super-light 1.88kg.
It isn’t a high-end gaming laptop without its NVIDIA RTX 2070 GPU, as well as Intel’s 9th-gen i7 processor, displayed in a stunning 17.3-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate. And with Aftershock’s longstanding tradition of customisability, it boasts up to 2TB of internal storage, with up to a whopping 32GB of RAM for your min-maxing needs.
Other notable features include Intel’s next-gen cooling capabilities, as well as a massive 92WH battery, which allows the Vapor 15 to last for a good 10 hours – that’s more than twice the battery life of most other gaming laptops within its price range.
The Aftershock Vapor 15 is available now at the Aftershock PC online store, and will retail from S$2,595 onwards.

Marion has a serious RPG addiction. Sometimes it bleeds into real life; he forgets to sleep because he thinks he has a Witcher’s body clock. Forgive him in advance if he suddenly blurts out terms such as “Mind Flayer” and “Magic Missile”, because never once does he stop thinking about his next Dungeons & Dragons game.
