Adobe Creative Cloud, Not Skynet, Is Powering Terminator: Dark Fate

Several new announcements were made during the Terminator: Dark Fate’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con, such as the return of Edward Furlong as John Connor. During the panel, Adobe released a small teaser which revealed how the sixth instalment of the film franchise was created with Adobe Creative Cloud

The teaser started off with a quote from director Tim Miller about his experience using Creative Cloud,

I wanted to give a special thanks to Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop for providing us with a seamless editing and post-vis experience on Terminator: Dark Fate.

For those who do not know, Miller also used Adobe Creative Cloud for his debut feature film, Deadpool.

The teaser then moved on to show a short scene where we can see the Terminator taking back his human form, following a fight which exposed a part of his robotic face. While short, the scene still manages to look incredibly smooth and realistic, thanks to the use of Adobe Creative Cloud.

In celebration of their partnership, Adobe has also released custom-made Terminator Giphy stickers which fans of the franchise can use on their Instagram stories. You can get the sticker by searching “adobexterminator’ on Giphy.

Terminator: Dark Fate will be released in theatres on November 1, 2019.
