It’s time for another Star Wars x Adidas collaboration to keep the 40th anniversary celebrations for The Empire Strikes Back going. And what better way to honour arguably the most iconic film in the franchise of all time than by launching a pair of kicks inspired by everyone’s favourite bounty hunter, Boba Fett?
The Star Wars x Adidas Top Ten Hi “Boba Fett” is the next major collaboration sneaker by the German footwear brand, following the releases of sneakers inspired by Luke Skywalker Stan Smiths, and the Lando Calrissian and Stormtrooper NMD R1s.
Drawing influence from Boba’s iconic olive green battle armour, this sneaker also sports an olive green upper with hits of brown and red stripes, with yellow eyestays as well as a neat weathered look that exposes a grey inner layer to imitate the character’s battle-worn suit. The midsole is a dark grey, and the laces are white, both of which complement the overall earthy tone of this silhouette.
Arguably the most striking feature of this sneaker is the presence of a large brown pouch on the right shoe – a perfect homage to Boba Fett’s iconic utility belt.
Examining the upper a little more, one can find various badges situated around the shoes, with the Mandalorian symbol being the most prominent one, found on the heel area. The light blue tongue sports black-and-white artwork of Boba Fett, and the lace deubres can be interchanged so wearers can pick whether they want to display “Star Wars” or “Boba Fett”.
The sneakers come in a very unconventional packaging that sports more Boba Fett artwork, which more closely resembles the kind used for action figures. Interesting.
The Star Wars x Adidas Top Ten Hi “Boba Fett” launches on 24 September on the Adidas UK online store, and will retail for £84.95 (US$111).

Forgive him in advance if he suddenly blurts out terms such as “Mind Flayer” and “Magic Missile”, because never once does he stop thinking about his next Dungeons & Dragons game.
