Following its global rollout last month, Meta has brought its personal AI agent, Muse, to Singapore, with early local connector partners including familiar apps and services across shopping, dining, and travel.

Unlike previous AI assistants, which feature a bigger focus on corporate productivity and professional development, Muse is touted as the first AI agent designed for consumers and day-to-day use, offering a way for users to keep on track of their daily tasks while also managing various apps such as Gmail, Google Calendar and Instagram.
Early local connector partners in Singapore include Shopee, Grab, Singapore Airlines, Agoda, ShopBack, Klook, Trip.com and Lazada, offering a decent range of compatible apps across shopping, travel, and dining services. Meta states that other connector features will roll out progressively, with added experiences to come after launch.
According to Meta, users can ask Muse to do research on products on multiple online storefronts, comparing information such as price and availability before making their purchases. They will also be able to manage travel tickets and reservations across their apps, easing the process of planning itineraries.

Of course, when it comes to AI assistants, the topic of safety is always top of mind, as users might be hesitant to let an AI agent gain access to their personal information. To this end, Meta states that Muse runs on Muse Secure VM, a dedicated computer in the cloud that securely stores the data and credentials for services, while keeping private info like passwords and payment methods out of the agent’s view. Users will also be able to choose what Muse can access, and the app will always check with a user before making sensitive actions such as sending an email or making an online purchase.
Muse is free to use with a weekly usage limit, with optional subscription plans for those who require extended usage. Muse is now available to download for free on Google Play, the App Store, or via muse.ai.
