Featuring long-time franchise protagonist Axel, the game will see players embarking on a story campaign spanning five unique cities, with tons of car customisation options, an online racing mode, and a revamped classic arcade mode.

Fable

Playground Games’ Fable might have been delayed to next year, but at least we now have a new look at one of its major villains, Isabel, the Hero of Wraithmarsh. Portrayed by Haley Atwell, this former Albion hero has now fallen to the dark side and is obsessed with righting Albion’s wrongs, no matter how many people she has to hurt along the way. Additionally, the trailer also offers a first look at the return of another iconic villain, Jack of Blades, so it will be interesting to see the new direction this next instalment takes when the game launches on 23 February 2027.

Gears of War: E-Day

As perhaps the biggest title of the showcase – so big, in fact, that it received a dedicated game direct showcaseGears of War: E-Day takes things back to the beginning. Players will embody the iconic soldiers Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago as they try to survive the events of the titular Emergence Day, the first appearance of the deadly Locust Horde. E-Day looks to feel and play just like fans of the franchise know and love, now with added fluidity and verticality when it comes to movement. Players can witness the fall of Sera first-hand when the game launches on 6 August 2026 as an Xbox console exclusive.

Halo: Campaign Evolved

The Plague Tale franchise is getting a new chapter, and this time, it looks to be heading in a bold new direction. Following the previous two stealth-based titles, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy will explore the origins of the franchise with a new protagonist, Sophia, who embarks on a journey to a mysterious island to uncover a terrifying secret hidden in the shadows. Instead of sneaking by enemies, Sophia is a much more capable fighter, and the game will offer a mix of intense close-quarters combat, Uncharted-esque exploration, and the franchise’s signature emotional storytelling when it launches on 27 August 2026.

Senua

The tragic tale of Senua continues, as the Hellblade franchise continues with the eponymously titled next chapter, which sees the titular Celtic warrior trapped between life and death in a fractured vision of purgatory. Unlike the previous two games, which saw players mostly encountering foes in small groups, here they must use everything at their disposal against larger hordes of enemies, including her signature blade, a hatchet, her special focus abilities, or even environmental hazards. Apart from combat, the game is also set to see the return of its perception-based environmental puzzles and what looks to be encounters against gigantic bosses. Senua is set to launch sometime in 2027.

Spyro: A Realm Beyond

The legendary gaming dragon is making a comeback, as Spyro: A Realm Beyond marks the first original game in the franchise in nearly two decades. The game will launch sometime in 2027.
