The Game Awards, the annual celebration of the best of video gaming, is set to expand its horizons this year, as the show will stream live on Amazon Prime Video for the first time alongside its usual platforms, Twitch and YouTube.

Occurring live from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on 11 December 2025, The Game Awards 2025 (TGA 2025) has attained a new streaming partner in Prime Video, opening the doors for an entire platform of potential new audiences, who can join in the festivities online and witness world premieres of upcoming gaming titles, musical performances, and the awards ceremony that honours this year’s best games and creators.

“We’re thrilled to bring our global celebration of video games to even more audiences with the addition of Prime Video,” said creator and CEO of The Game Awards Geoff Keighley in a statement to the press. “With the upcoming launch of Fallout Season 2 and an exciting slate of game adaptations, Prime Video is a natural home for our show. We’re honoured to have Amazon stand alongside so many other entertainment technology companies as partners to our show.”

Apart from its debut on Prime Video, TGA 2025 will also introduce another first for its livestream on Twitch, with the show now available on the platform in 1,440p resolution for the first time. TGA 2025 will also continue to include Twitch Drops in its livestream, rewarding viewers who watch 30 minutes or more with exclusive in-game content and a limited-edition TGA chat badge, with more details on the Drop campaign revealed closer to the event date.
