Ahead of Fallout’s second season in December, Amazon Prime Video has released a set of first-look photos that offer a better look at New Vegas, its iconic setting based on the 2010 video game.
These follow the season’s poster reveal, which featured returning characters Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell, Arcane), The Ghoul (Walton Goggins, Django Unchained), Maximus (Aaron Moten, Disjointed), and Dogmeat walking on the outskirts of New Vegas, with the iconic decayed sign prominently featured alongside a glimpse at the Lucky 38 Casino.

Now, new images offer a look at the past, showing Goggin’s character, Cooper Howard, before he was the ghoul, driving through the New Vegas strip in a pre-war flashback, with a reflection of the Lucky 38 resort and casino clearly seen in the car window. Additional flashback images show Howard standing next to his wife, Barb (Frances Turner, The Boys), in what might be the interior of the Lucky 38, in a scene likely to show off the Vegas glitz and glamour before the world collapsed.
Apart from flashbacks, the new images also tease new looks at familiar characters, including Lucy and the Ghoul butting heads in the wasteland, Lucy’s brother Norm (Moisés Arias, Hannah Montana) looking particularly villainous in Vault 33, Maximus walking side-by-side with his Brotherhood of Steel compatriots, and Lucy’s father Hank (Kyle MacLachlan, Twin Peaks) all dressed up in a snazzy suit and definitely up to no good.

It was also previously confirmed by showrunners Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet that the show will take place 15 years after the events of the original Fallout: New Vegas, meaning fans should expect a different take on the iconic casino city, although familiar characters like Mr. House will still make an appearance, although it’s unclear in what capacity.
Fallout Season Two is scheduled to premiere on Prime Video in December 2025.
