GeraldWith its initial launch on 2 February 2024, the Apple Vision Pro flew off the shelves and quickly saw itself relisted on the secondary market but soon it will be arriving in 8 more markets starting from 28 June 2024.
The next few markets that will see the Vision Pro rollout would be China, Japan, and Singapore from 28 June followed by Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom from 12 July 2024.
Apart from the hardware rollout, Apple shared that the visionOS ecosystem has grown to 2000 apps and introduced their next software update – visionOS 2.
For us, one of the key features that we are looking forward to would be checking out the new Mac Virtual Display. Apple claims the feature is “getting bigger, higher resolution and size, equivalent to two 4K monitors side by side.”
For us, we’ll be looking forward to getting hold of our own device and putting it through even more games. Apple had announced a new TabletopKit development platform to help developers build apps such as board games.
Will this see the next wave of board gaming on the Vision Pro? We certainly hope so in being able to play with friends no matter where they are!
Gerald currently straddles between his love of video games and board gaming. There’s nothing that interests him more than trying out the newest and fanciest gadget in town as well. He dreams of publishing a board game sometime in the future!
