There’s just something mesmerizing about watching a 43-year-old toy get restored back to its original pristine condition. The master craftsman at Rescue & Restore is at it again, and this time he has picked a Star Wars favourite, the X-Wing starfighter by Kenner, released way back in 1978.
A method called retrobright was used to bleach the plastic to remove the yellowing. Just look at the end result below. Isn’t that glorious? Makes us wonder if it was ever this “white” back in 1978.
