Super Nintendo World might not be ready for fans as of yet but those looking to still have some fun this summer can still do so with the virtual Pokemon Virtual Fest, an online Pokemon-themed amusement park that will be open from 12 to 31 August 2020.Â
According to Famitsu (via Siliconera), the Pokemon theme park will unfortunately only be available in Japan and those interested in visiting can do so via their PC or mobile device using an app called Cluster.Â
Once there, players can select from one of three caps to wear on their avatar: Sobble, Grookey, and Scorbunny.
After being properly outfitted for the occasion, guests can then head on to one of the many attractions located in the theme park such as the Giant Poké Ball Ferris Wheel, Wailord Sky Ocean Cruise, and Galarian Weezing Train. There are also a number of other activities and rides that can be unlocked by completing a series of escape rooms in the game.
Aside from that, there is also a stage where various in-app events will take place, such as Pokemon Sword and Shield public battles, and adorable Pikachu dance shows from 29 to 31 August 2020.Â
If you wish to customise your avatar even more, there will also be a store in the theme park that sells various objects you can use.
Now, we can wait and hope that something similar will be released for fans outside of Japan.
