KFC is shaking things up this year with an ‘unusual’ spin to their traditional fried chicken. Now you must be thinking, what can be so special about fried chicken? Well, KFC is launching its new Parmesan Truffle Chicken, which promises to be ‘deliciously untraditional’.

With restaurants all over Singapore catching on the truffle trend, KFC decided to give it their own unique spin by combining both truffle and the crowd-favourite Parmesan cheese to their fried chicken.

The succulent fried chicken is drizzled with a truffle-infused cheese sauce, and topped with shredded Parmesan before it is served. During the media tasting, we found ourselves pleasantly surprised at the distinct truffle taste found on the chicken’s crispy fried skin.

The Parmesan Truffle 2pcs meal will be sold for S$8.95 and comes with two pieces of Parmesan Truffle Chicken, one Whipped Potato and coleslaw, and a cup of SJORA Strawberry Kiwi.

Those feeling a little more peckish can get the Parmesan Truffle Box Meal, which comes with an additional two pieces of Hot & Crispy Tenders, for S$10.95.
