If you thought you’d seen the last of Jigsaw, you’re wrong. In a new trailer released for Saw X, Jigsaw is very much alive and is back with all sorts of deadly puzzle traps.
The trailer sees the Jigsaw Killer aka John Kramer travel to Mexico for a risky and experimental medical procedure in hopes of curing his terminal cancer. He later learns that the entire operation is a scam and plots for revenge, or some may say, a twisted form of justice, on all those who have wronged him.
Tobin Bell returns to play the killer after originating the role in Saw (2004). Saw X is set between the events of Saw and Saw 2 (2005). Jigsaw died in Saw 3 (2006).
Series veteran Shawnee Smith also returns for Saw X. Synnøve Macody Lund, Steven Brand, Michael Beach, Renata Vaca, Paulette Hernandez and Octavio Hinojosa join the film.
Saw X is directed by Kevin Greutert, who also directed Saw VI and Saw 3D.
