‘This War of Mine’ Developer Donating All Profits From Game In Support Of Ukraine

In light of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the 11 bit studios team has released a statement in support of their Ukrainian nieghbours.

The team behind This War of Mine and Frostpunk are based in Poland and have made a clear stand on Twitter with a post denouncing Russia’s action. However, according to the team, “just words would be empty without a meaningful act”.

As such, 11 bits studios will be donating all the profits over the next seven days from sales of This War of Mine and all its DLCs to the Ukrainian Red Cross. This is 11 bit studios’ way of directly supporting the victims of war.

This initiative will apply to all stores and platforms, which include Epic Games Store, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, and Steam. GOG.com.

For those who prefer to donate and support Ukrainians affected by the war more directly, there are a number of humanitarian aid organisations accepting donations to further bolster their efforts – Save the Children, UNICEF, Project HOPE, Direct Relief, Voices of Children, International Rescue Committee.
