GeraldApart from the ongoing Nintendo pop-up store at Jewel Changi, the rest of the mall has also been engulfed in all things Super Mario. From now till 1 January 2024, the Pipe Around The World at Jewel event features a slew of photo spots that transport guests to the Mushroom Kingdom.
Join the likes of Princess Peach, Toad, Bowser, Goombas, and Yoshi, the mall has been adorned with plenty of installations that highlight other Super Mario motifs such as the Super Star, Question Block, and Mushroom power-up.
With 56 pipes spread out across Jewel, the real highlight is the various merch to be redeemed when you spend at the mall during this period. For every S$50 spent on a single receipt, patrons will be able to purchase the following –
- 2-in-1 cushion & neck pillow ($13)
- 3-in-1 organiser ($13)
- A canvas bag ($12)
- Travel pouch ($12)
Our pick would be to go for the neck pillow which is an adaption of the main key visual.
Otherwise, the travel pouch would do just fine as well. The branding does come across a little strong but if you’ve just spent a bit of change in the Nintendo pop-up store, these items are looking like a bargain.
No Nintendo experience would be complete without meeting the plumber bros themselves and there will be Mario and Luigi meet-and-greets taking place at Jewel on 17, 18, and 19 November at 12 pm, 2 pm and 4 pm at the South Gateway Garden on Level 2.
