Star Wars fans listen up! Star Wars Identities: The Exhibition is making Singapore their final stop from 30 January till 13 June 2021 and it’s going to take you to a galaxy far, far away. Well, not too far away – the ArtScience Museum!
Developed and produced by Montreal’s X3 Productions in collaboration with Lucasfilm, the exhibition will be displaying 200 original items and artefacts from the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art archive. The exclusive showcase includes authentic props, models, costumes and artwork from the original Star Wars films.
Amongst the 200 authentic artefacts include favourite droids like BB-8 and R2-D2, life-sized models of Chewbacca and Yoda as well as the original Boba Fett and Stormtrooper costumes. You can also feast your eyes on the Millenium Falcon, the Star Destroyer and more. The exhibits will span across the original trilogy (1977 to 1983), the prequel trilogy (1999 to 2005), Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series (2008 to 2020) and Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015). Sorry folks, it hasn’t been updated with artefacts from The Mandalorian just yet.

“Through the exploration of the characters and worlds of Star Wars, this interactive exhibition connects us with themes that can resonate with our own sense of self, familial identity and shared experience. In Singapore, the exhibition will engage that connection… fantasy meets reality, with a dash of reflection and adventure,” says George Lucas.

Admission times will be every 15 minutes starting from 10am, and average time spent at the exhibition is expected to be 1.5 hours. So be sure to allocate enough time to take in the exhibits!
