Do you know what was difficult to find? Yavin 4.
What isn’t that hard to locate though, are the real world filming locations of the Star Wars movies, both the OT, the PT and the upcoming sequels. While the PT used plenty of green screens to simulate the many planets in the Star Wars Universe, each of the movies featured real-world locations.
In fact, Star Wars fans can actually head out to Tataouine, the town in Tunisia that represented Tatooine, and find sets from A New Hope still standing, waiting for that regiment of Stormtroopers to rip it apart.
For the less inclined, here are some of the other locations used for the Star Wars movies.
Pro Tip: Hold off on visiting Tunisia if this is your first set visit. Remember what Anakin said, that could have help drive him to the dark side.
