The Acolyte is a mystery-thriller that will take viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging Dark Side powers in the final days of the High Republic era. In the real universe of Star Wars, ‘ acolyte’ can refer to individuals with Force abilities who learn from a more experienced Sith Lord.

This marks actor Lee’s first American studio role following his breakout role in Netflix’s Squid Game. The Korean series by creator Hwang Dong-Hyuk earned 14 Emmy nominations and turned Lee and his castmates into household names.

Currently, no premiere date has been announced for Star Wars: The Acolyte, but fans can look forward to Star Wars: Andor, The Mandalorian Season 3, and Ahsoka in the meantime, all of which have been given release windows.
