‘Spy x Family Code: White’ Movie Trailer Gives Extended Look At Forger Family In Action

With the shenanigans of the Forger Family picking back up in Spy x Family Season 2, there’s no better time to keep the hype going for the series. The Spy x Family Code: White anime film has unveiled a new trailer featuring the theme song “SOULSOUP” by Official HIGE DANdism, alongside the main poster visual.

Opening with Anya clutching onto a gun (later revealed to be a toy rifle), the reel offers an extended look beyond the movie’s original premise, which sees the telepath accidentally swallowing a piece of chocolate she shouldn’t have during a trip. This time, fans get a glimpse of the main villain, scenes of Loid and Yor in action, and a captured Anya.

Spy x Family Code: White is set to premiere in Japan on 22 December. It will be an all-new work with an original story following the Forger family’s vacation in the Frigis region. However, it quickly turns south — the chocolate treat contains a secret that can alter the peaceful balance of the world, resulting in Anya’s actions accidentally sparking off a series of events.

Series creator Tatsuya Endō, serving as supervisor, is credited with the original work and original character designs for the animated feature. Prior to this, Official HIGE DANdism also performed the first opening theme song for the anime’s first season, titled “Mixed Nuts”.

The second season aired on 7 October and is currently three episodes in. While light on action, the upcoming “Great Cruise Adventure” story arc is expected to kick things into high gear, with Yor finally getting her time to shine as the deadly, brutal assassin Thorn Princess.
