It has been 13 years since Sony created the world’s first 4K projectors, and they are upping their game with the release of 3 new 4K resolution HDR Home Cinema Projectors – the VPL-VW870ES, VPL-VW570ES and the VPL-VW270ES.
All 3 models feature Sony’s 4K Silicon X-tal Reflective Display (SXRD) panel technology for native 4K (4,096 x 2,160) resolution, 4K Motionflow technology and 18Gbps HDMI, and 4K 60P 10 bit processing compatibility. All of these factors result in crisp images with fine colour gradations, even when viewing fast-motion videos such as sports events or games.

#1: VPL-VW870ES with ARC-F lens
This is Sony’s top-end model with a 4K laser light source, which gives brighter images without the need for lamp replacement. It is also equipped with Sony’s All Range Crisp Focus (ARC-F) for high image precision, even at the corners and is able to store your key settings for up to 5 screen formats through their Picture Position Memory feature.
