Audiophiles love their headphones, and if you are a fan of the booming bass, you know how essential it is to have that oomph everywhere you go. Sony Electronics is going to help enhance your auditory experience no matter what you are up to with these 4 new additions to their already impressive EXTRA BASS line of listening devices. Price points are looking rather decent so this might be a good way to find out how far the realm of audio devices actually go.

The headlining MDR-XB950N1 and MDR-XB950B1 EXTRA BASS Wireless Headphones are long-lasting powerhouses, with up to 22 hours of continuous, and more importantly, wireless playback for the XB950N1 and 18 hours for the XB95B1.

Both support Bluetooth audio streaming, and can be easily paired with Near Field Communications (NFC) technology, saving you the hassle of needlessly fiddling with settings. The aptX & AAC codec support will ensure the full enjoyment of powerful and enhanced bass without signal loss, and with the XB950N1’s adaptive noise cancelling, you can focus on your music with no distractions.

Furthermore, both headphones can be controlled using the “Sony | Headphones Connect” smartphone app, allowing for adjustments on the fly using your phone. Hands-free calling never looked or sound so great as well.

The Sony EXTRA BASS noise cancelling XB950N1 will be available from April 2017 at S$339 and the XB950B1 will be at S$269 which is actually pretty decently priced as compared to other alternatives out there. Quality wise might be a tricky thing to manage at this price point.
