Sony And Naughty Dog Unveil ‘The Last of Us’ Limited Edition DualSense Controller For Apr

Naughty Dog’s post-apocalyptic action-adventure franchise The Last of Us might not be getting a third entry, but at least it’s still being celebrated with the announcement of a limited edition DualSense wireless controller with a design inspired by both games.

The Last of Us DualSense

As revealed via an official PlayStation blog post, the controller was designed by Sony in close collaboration with the creative team at Naughty Dog, featuring an inverted black and white colour scheme compared to the base DualSense controller and sporting glossy icons across its body which feature the various symbols seen across both games, such as the wrench-like repair icon, in-game skill emblems and even the game’s HUD icon for the brick.

The controller will also feature three iconic white symbols standing out in the sea of black: The Fireflies’ iconic spray paint logo seen in The Last of Us Part I, the wolf symbol of the Washington Liberation Front (WLF) and Ellie’s moth tattoo, which according to Naughty Dog head Neil Druckmann and graphic designer Megan Mehran, “represent the intertwining lives and duality between Ellie and Abby in The Last of Us Part II“.

The Last of Us Limited Edition DualSense wireless controller will be priced at US$84.99 and will be available in limited quantities from 10 April 2025, with pre-orders opening on 14 March via PlayStation’s online store for those in the US, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
