Following the release of its Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover, Sega’s arcade racer Sonic Racing: Crossworlds is continuing its hot streak of collaborations with the addition of Axel and his iconic yellow cab from the classic driving franchise, Crazy Taxi, who are making their way into the game via a free content update.
Ahead of Axel’s upcoming appearance in Sega’s Crazy Taxi: World Tour, which is now set to release in 2027, the classic arcade gaming icon will first make a stop in Sonic Racing: Crossworlds as its newest free character and is part of the Acceleration character class. His iconic machine, the Devolada Yellow Jack, is inspired by the bright yellow 1960 Cadillac Eldorado he drives in the classic game franchise and is part of the Speed class.
