Skechers Singapore Celebrates Sailor Moon Collaboration With Roving Pop-Up Truck

Skechers is back at it again with another great anime collaboration and this time it is with the popular ‘90s anime Sailor Moon.

The Skechers x Sailor Moon collection will bring us five new Skechers D’Lites Airy 2.0 sneakers themed after the five Sailor Scout, with each getting their own sneaker. Aside from their respective colour theme, the sneaker will also include each Scout’s planetary symbol as well as the Scout’s name on the back of the shoe.

Also, in celebration of the Skechers x Sailor Moon collaboration, a roving truck pop-up will be taking place at both Bugis Junction (8-9 February) and Plaza Singapura (15-16 February). The pop-up will showcase the new shoes and apparels released in the collection along with various Instagram worthy decorations for you to pose with.

Now you no longer need the power of the moon to feel just like a Sailor Scout.

Also not only will you get to see the new shoes and apparels in person but also the Sailor Scout themselves rocking the new Sailor Moon Skechers. Regardless of whether you are a fan of the series or not, you can always say hi and snap a photo with them.

Aside from the collection, the pop-up will also come with an interactive memory game for you to test your speed and memory. By the end of the weekend, the fastest player will get to walk away with a pair of Skechers x Sailor Moon sneakers of their choice.

You can also get a caricature of yourself drawn at the pop-up by on-site caricature artists. To get a hand-drawn caricature, simply take a photo of yourself with the pop-up truck, post it on either your Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #SkechersXSailorMoon

For those who wish to purchase the Sailor Moon Skechers, the D’Lites Airy 2.0 sneakers will be retailing for S$159 while the Skechers Street, which comes with detachable ribbons, will be retailing for S$99.

The Skechers x Sailor Moon pop-up truck is happening at Bugis Junction on 8 – 9 February and at Plaza Singapore on 15 – 16 February, from 11am to 9pm.
