Singtel Introduces Data-Free Apple Music With Six-Months Free Subscription

If you have resisted streaming music on your mobile device due to the data consumption, this offer might change your tune.

In the first data-free tie-up with Apple Music in Singapore, Singtel postpaid mobile customers will get to enjoy free data-streaming on the world’s fastest-growing music platform, at the nominal fee of S$9.98 a month. To further sweeten the deal, this new plan is set to come into effect from today, May 30, 2018, and new and re-contracting customers will also be granted a six-month subscription with no minimum contract, at zero cost.

Of the team-up, CEO Yuen Kuan Moon elaborated upon the benefits that Singtel users can expect, stating:

We’re excited that this latest collaboration with Apple, we allow Singtel consumers to be the first in Singapore to experience data-free Apple Music. Our customers will have the freedom to stream or download music entertainment on our superior network, without taking a byte off their monthly mobile data allowance. We will continue to forge partnerships to bring our customers the very best from around the world, be it content, services or the latest devices.

Available on both iOS and Android devices, including Apple Watch Series 3, interested parties may head on down to Singtel shops island-wide, or the official website for sign-ups.

With 45 million songs, Apple Music offers subscribers an incredible catalog tunes, which consumers can stream or download for offline listening, completely ad-free.

Users will also get a daily mix of recommended music, based on their preferences, and watch exclusive music videos,
documentaries and concerts from their favorite artists.

For those in Canada, France, and Germany, they can welcome the HomePod from June 18, 2018. Already available in the US, UK, and Australia, the wireless speaker merges Apple-engineered technology and advanced software to deliver a more immersive listening experience in iOS 11.4.

In addition to featuring a user-friendly system, in which two HomePod speakers can be easily hooked up with each other, it also supports AirPlay 2 for a multi-room audio set-up, allowing for the effortless, synced streaming of music or podcasts across different devices.
