Are you a child of the 80s? If you are, S.H. Figuarts is certainly not making you forget your childhood with their own rendition of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

I personally own a set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures that are sculpted after the classic Eastman and Laird look and these hit me right on the nostalgia button. I’ve not seen anything so close to the first cartoon series with such articulation before.

However, here’s the kicker, these S.H. Figuarts Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will retail for a suggested price is ¥7,020, or around USD$60 each. The release date has been slated for August 2016 so hurry on down to your favourite toy retailer to make a deposit.

First up for this release would be Leonardo –

Leonardo looks to come with his signature swords, an alternative head and a manhole cover.

And there looks to be an elastic band at the back to sheath away his swords when they are not in use.

Donatello is looking equally awesome with his signature bo and a pizza as an accessory.

Similar to Leo, he will have a nice place to tuck away his weapon as well. However, the bo is lacking a bit of details and should come wrapped to finish the look.
