Reddit’s ‘Tales From The Void’ Brings Horror Stories To TV

Scrolling r/NoSleep for a story that will keep you up at night? Tales From The Void brings your darkest imaginations to life, adapting six Reddit horror stories into a chilling anthology.

The Black Square, first posted to Reddit in 2017 by Matt Dymserski, opens the series with a tale of mob mentality and a black square that mysteriously appears in the neighbourhood as the residents’ imaginations run wild. Suitable Flesh director Joe Lynch helms the pilot as various horror directors assemble for the anthology, including Maritte Lee Go ( Black as Night ), The Adams Family (Hellbender), and series creator Francesco Loschiavo.

Horror fans can expect to see a variety of horror stories from different genres, twisting psychological horror tales like Betsy The Doll by Rebecca Klingel, and I used to hack baby monitors. But one night I learned my lesson. by Manen Lyset.

“This series is a love letter to the r/NoSleep community, celebrating the breadth and depth of the horror genre. We put a lot of time and care curating and adapting these stories for television, and we look forward to seeing how audiences react,” Loschiavo remarks on the series’ webpage, joined by The NoSleep Podcast creator David Cummings, who “dare(s) everyone to plunge into the void with us.”

Tales From The Void will premiere on Screambox in Fall 2024.
