Razer Inc. has unveiled its latest line-up during its annual flagship event, RazerCon 2024, a digital celebration event held from 28 September to 5 October 2024.

Hosted by CEO Min-Liang Tan, the showcase introduced a slew of upcoming Razer products, including ones powered by Razer Sensa HD Haptics like the Razer Freyja HD Haptic Gaming Cushion and the Razer Kraken V4 Pro headset, as well as a new smart laptop cooling pad and the Razer Synapse 4.

As the world’s first HD Haptic gaming cushion, the Razer Freyja uses its six haptic motor actuators built into the seat and backrest to bring tactile sensations to life. The haptic feedback not only provides an enhanced level of immersion to gaming sessions by adding multi-directional vibrations to accompany the action on screen but also adds to the experience of watching movies or listening to music with immersive haptic feedback.

The Kraken V4 Pro headset completes the V4 line and also brings an added level of immersion with Sensa HD Haptics. With integrated support for major video game titles such as Hogwarts Legacy, Final Fantasy XVI, as well as upcoming titles like Silent Hill 2 and S.T.A.L.K.E.R.2: Heart of Chornobyl, the headset provides an elevated sensory experience to accompany every gaming session.

The Razer Laptop Cooling Pad makes use of adaptive smart cooling to automatically adjust fan speeds based on the temperature of individual laptop components. Designed for 14 to 18-inch laptops, the cooling pad also features an airtight pressure chamber, three magnetic support frames, and a high-velocity 140mm fan that can reduce CPU and GPU temperatures by up to 18%, essential for lengthy bouts of gaming.

Rounding things off, Razer’s in-house control centre application is set to receive a substantial upgrade with the Razer Synapse 4. Delivering a 30% increase in processing speed compared to the previous iteration, a modernised user interface improving ease of access, and enhanced customisability, the application aims to be an all-in-one companion for Razer users.

To celebrate its upcoming 20th anniversary in 2025, Razer also teased the return of the iconic Razer Boomslang mouse, now improved with modern updates. Widely known for its role in the early days of gaming hardware, the legendary mouse is set to release in 2025 via a limited run.
