Razer Sharpens Blade 18 With World’s First 18-inch 4K 200Hz Display

Razer is sharpening its edge, once again pulling ahead of the competition with the refreshed Blade 18, the first gaming laptop of its kind to have an 18-inch 4K 200Hz display, and equipped with the latest Thunderbolt 5 ports.

The laptop boasts two display options, the 4K 200Hz display or the QHD+ (2,560 x 1,600) alternative with a 300Hz mini-LED panel, but both will maintain cinematic-level quality and take gaming to the next level. It’s equipped with the Intel Core 14th Gen i9-14900HX with overclocking capabilities, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card — all packed into a 21.99mm chassis, the world’s thinnest form factor for an 18-inch Intel HX-class system.

Tapping into AI technology, Razer’s latest will leverage on NVIDIA’s DLSS 3 to deliver faster framerates and real-time ray tracing. Together with the specialised AI Tensor cores, it optimises performance in over 500 supported games and applications, including recent AAA titles like Cyberpunk 2077 and Alan Wake 2.

Users won’t have to worry about overheating, as the Razer Blade 18 also has patented vapor chamber technology featuring a 3-fan system, keeping their system cool while ensuring performance during intense gaming sessions. Not to mention the 5MP webcam, a THX spatial audio 6-speaker array, and upgradeable components, among other features that offer added convenience.

Audio EQ levels are fully customisable when using headphones, so you can adjust the sound to your preferred settings. The laptop also integrates Razer Synapse into its system, which allows for various custom settings like fan speed, CPU overclocking, and a battery saver function.

“We are excited to deliver the Blade 18 as it ushers in a new era of Razer products equipped with Thunderbolt 5, including upcoming cutting-edge Thunderbolt accessories,” says Travis Furst, Head of Notebook & Accessories Division at Razer. “With these innovations, the Blade 18 blurs the line between desktop performance and mobile convenience, ensuring our users are equipped with nothing but the absolute best to dominate in gaming and creativity.”

The Razer Blade 18 is currently available online for S$4,499 and for pre-order at RazerStore outlets in Singapore.
