Highly Anticipated Racing Game KartRider: Drift Opens For Pre-registration

Upcoming party kart-racer KartRider: Drift has opened pre-registration to racers starting 18 August 2022 in preparation for its launch on PC (Nexon’s launcher or Steam), Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and mobile. Players who sign up can receive special character Model Student Diz when the game officially launches.

KartRider: Drift boasts multiple features that deliver exciting racing gameplay such as:

  • Awesome Game Modes – Racers can test their grit in “Speed Mode”, a fast-paced mode that will test racer’s reaction skills and strategy using the boost. “Item Mode” offers a wide variety of usable items to attack opposing teams or defend their allies. Finally, racers can challenge their friends in “Custom Race”.
  • Crisp GraphicsKartRider: Drift delivers bright and colorful graphics directly to PC, console and mobile racers’ screens.
  • Full Customization (Livery) – Almost every kart features can be customized to fit each player’s individual style.

Each platform KartRider: Drift will launch on will have an exclusive character and kart themed after that specific platform. Racers can claim each exclusive through playing the game within 90 days of its global launch. Each platform exclusive is redeemable only once per account.

KartRider: Drift is an upcoming multiplayer kart racing party game, taking inspiration from earlier titles in the franchise, delivering drift-fueled racing action and featuring multiple game modes and deep player-created kart and character customization in stunning Unreal Engine 4 graphics. KartRider: Drift offers free-to-play online cross-platform play and progression to challenge friends.

Originally launched in 2004, KartRider was the first title in Nexon’s kart racing series and subsequently gained huge popularity in Asia and beyond, amassing more than 300 million players during its 18 years of release. As a franchise, KartRider has established a strong brand across Asian markets and a huge eSports presence in Korea with the official league starting in 2005. It continues to be the longest running eSports league to date.
